Among the many programs of the Badger Chapter of the American Red Cross are those for young people who wish to be trained in life saving and baby sitting. A grant from Youth Services Inc., the Wisconsin State Journal charity that sponsors the Empty Stocking Club, helps the Red Cross develop those programs and make them available, particularly, to children from disadvantaged income groups.
