Professor Bernard Lorentz, PhD, HMD, Gras, Austria, was a colleague and friend of Professor Guenther Enderlein from the early 1950's until his death in 1968. Professor Lorentz was a frequent visitor to Enderlein's laboratory in Aumuehle, Germany. He has first hand knowledge of Enderlein's experimental studies and theories. Professor Lorentz is a microbiologist and immunologist and has worked closely with the Professor Werner Scheidl Foundation of Biological Medicine in Munich, Germany and Buenos Aires, Argentina, where research into the identification and categorization of platelet markers for chronic and degenerative diseases has been developed over the last 30 years.
