IN MAY 2001, I received a call from Affinity Holidays in Florida, selling me a holiday to be taken any time up to July 2005. They wanted a deposit of pounds 574, which I paid with my Visa debit card. Now Affinity Holidays has stopped trading and another Florida company, called Take Me On Vacation, has taken over. They will not refund my pounds 574 and want me to pay the balance. Is there any way I could get even a partial repayment?
