Rascal's eyes lit up at the sight of a group of teenagers entering the tennis courts at Central Square Middle School.
Friday afternoon, about 100 eighth-graders crowded around the 20-month-old Siberian husky, his owner, Linda Clark, and a wooden dog sled.
Clark - who raises and trains huskies, Alaskan malamutes and Samoyeds - gave a short talk about sled dogs and racing and fielded questions. What she wasn't able to do was give a demonstration, as rain and warm weather had melted the snow around the school.
