"Opportunities are what business all about," said Richard Freedman, president of the privately owned Stamford-based Garden Homes Management Corp.
It was an eye for opportunity that led Richard's father, Joel, to keep alive the State Theater in Stamford's Springdale section. The State is the only for-profit second-run movie theater in Fairfield County, Freedman said.
