Dec. 26--There is a list in the small lobby of an East Palo Alto non-profit, written carefully in neat block letters by students. Actually, it's more of a proclamation.
Dharana Portillo wants to go to Georgetown University. Sabriya Meeks has several colleges in mind: Xavier University, Duke University, Hampton University. Ayinde Tate is zeroing in on Seton Hall University.
These young people are learning to dream about what many suburban teens take for granted: college.
