Comdisco completes $70 million unit sales
ROSEMONT - Comdisco Holding Co., the technology services business that came out of bankruptcy in August, completed the sale of its French leasing units to Belgium's Econocom Group for about $70 million. Comdisco first announced the sale of its Comdisco France and Promodata SNC units in October. The company filed for Chapter 11 protection in 2001 after investing $3 billion in startups that proved unprofitable or failed to repay loans.
