Household International Inc. Chairman and CEO William F. Aldinger will receive HSBC Holdings Plc shares worth $10 million and two annual $5.5 million stock payments as part of HSBC's acquisition of Household, according to Securities and Exchange Commission filings last week. Aldinger will continue to lead Household through 2003 and take over the reins of HSBC NA Inc. if the merger is completed as scheduled in next year's first quarter.
