SURVEY RESULTS REVEAL DIABETICS WHO MONITOR THEIR
BLOOD SUGAR LEVELS FEEL MORE IN CHARGE OF THEIR DISEASE
INDIANAPOLIS, Nov. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- According to a survey conducted by Boehringer Mannheim Corporation that polled 2,500 self- monitoring diabetics, 93 percent indicated they feel more in control of their diabetes when they regularly monitor their blood sugar levels.
In addition to monitoring blood sugar, 82 percent of those surveyed said they watch their diet carefully, and 70 percent said that they exercise on a regular basis.
