Dec. 29--When Samuel Taylor Coleridge wrote about Xanadu -- the site of a "stately pleasure dome" -- he likely wasn't thinking of a swamp.
Nevertheless, the Mills Corp. of Virginia has appropriated the word for the name of its entertainment, retail, and office center proposal for the Meadowlands.
Company officials say that pleasure in the form of family entertainment will account for about half of the project and draw customers to the center.
