They are business leaders who care as much about the health of the community as the bottom line.
They are relentless crusaders for the environment, the care of senior citizens and women's rights.
The 2002 Post-Standard Achievement Award winners come from all walks of life. And they share a pursuit of excellence in various fields of endeavor that invigorate and inspire the community around them.
Eleven award winners will be honored at a noon luncheon Feb. 6 at the Holiday Inn in Salina. Tickets cost $18 and reservations are available through the use of coupons in The Post-Standard.
