In our premier issue of Studies in Prolife Feminism, the broad range of perspectives and disciplines within the field are on display. From the legal to the historical to the political and philosophical, the motif is very rich. Indeed many years of essays would hardly begin to scratch the surface.
The contradiction between those who hold to feminist principles of decrying negative images of female biology, yet advocate abortion, is explored in our first offering. A later essay examines some contemporary negative imagery, and its positive counterparts, in greater detail.
