Jan. 3--Colorado Springs Utilities has begun studying three corridors of land between Lake Pueblo and Colorado Springs, setting out to identify the route for its new Southern Delivery Project water pipeline.
The planned 66-inch pipeline is a key to delivering an additional 68 million gallons of water per day to rapidly growing Colorado Springs.
The very first step toward the pipeline already has been taken: Colorado Springs paid the Pueblo Board of Water Works to oversize the board's new line from Pueblo Dam to the Whitlock Treatment Plant, and to install a Y ...
