Jan. 4--SOUTH BRUNSWICK, N.J.--Federated Department Stores Inc. will close its Macy's in South Brunswick this March because of weak sales.
Seventy-five employees and 10 executives will lose their jobs when the store on Route 1 south near New Road closes on or around March 9, said Ronnie Taffet, a New York-based spokeswoman for Macy's East stores. A going-out-of-business sale begins Jan. 19.
