Jan. 5--As the economy lurches into 2003, America faces an uncertain future. And the economists staring into the crystal ball seem just as baffled as the average Jane and Joe.
Such optimists as Larry Kudlow of CNBC and Gail Fosler of the Conference Board see boom times coming, as the nation shakes off its economic doldrums and revels in rising profits and stock prices.
