SAUSALITO, Calif. -- SAUSALITO, Calif., Jan. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Over the next few months, students from 14 public schools in California and Washington will have the opportunity to learn science firsthand by exploring ancient forests, the Pacific coastline, granite domes, and alpine meadows. The students will participate in multi-day outdoor science education programs in three national parks as part of a new partnership between the National Geographic Society's Education Foundation and Yosemite National Institutes (YNI).
