PFA RECOMMENDS INCREASE TO MILK MARKETING BOARD

CAMP HILL, Pa., Nov. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- The Pennsylvania Farmers' Association (PFA) has recommended that the Pennsylvania Milk Marketing Board (PMMB) increase the Class I over-order premium by 30 cents per hundredweight (cwt.) for the next seven months to compensate for higher fuel and lubricant costs to dairymen.

The recommendation was made by PFA's Director of Local Affairs Mel Eckhaus during testimony before an emergency hearing of the PMMB in Harrisburg.
