THE man who rebuilt Prince Charles's reputation after the death of Princess Diana is to quit amid controversy over the Paul Burrell trial and attempts to steal samples of Prince Harry's DNA.

Mark Bolland, the flamboyant spin doctor to the Prince of Wales, is leaving his pound sterling130,000a-year post after six years at St James's Palace.
