Jan. 7--AUSTIN, Texas-A rule that would curtail low-cost, limited-service home sales listings was put on hold Monday by the Texas Real Estate Commission.
The state agency that regulates Texas' real estate sales industry bowed to requests from agents and consumers who said they should take a harder look at the provision.
"We are going to reconsider," commission chairman Mike Brodie said after a unanimous vote of the nine-member commission. "We are saying, 'Do not enforce the rule that has been passed.' " The real estate commission hopes to make a final decision ...
