Jan. 9--Like many a small-business owner, Nicholas Wall wanted to look successful, even when he was just hoping to be.
"Thank you for calling Foodwerx. How may I direct your call?" he quotes himself as he recalls the way he answered the phone when he opened his restaurant and catering service in a Mount Laurel corporate center.
He would stand behind the lunch counter, alongside his three employees.
