OCEANFRONT - Legendary blues music and the aroma of Memphis-style barbecue percolate from Beale St. and drift into the parking lot to lure customers.
General Manager Jesse Walker imagines his guests' reaction as they approach the entrance of the new Shore Drive restaurant that's bringing a taste of Tennessee to Virginia Beach.
"I wonder if they can back up that smell," he said they might be thinking.
Walker's not worried, though, about the restaurant living up to its name with a cooker that can hold as many as four pigs, a secret recipe and a staff trained in the art of slow roasting.
