Jan. 10--With tourism becoming a critical part of sustaining the Charlotte County economy, a new home for the county office was needed.
The office of tourism development and the county visitor's bureau moved to new offices on the fifth floor of the SunTrust Building, 18501 Murdock Circle, across from the Murdock Administration Building.
"We are the central resource for people in the county," said development director Becky Bovell. "We needed offices which show people we are an active working bureau."
