A WOMAN with a nut allergychoked to death in front of her fiance after she accidentally ate a Brazil nut.

Belinda George, 26, went into shock and was unable to breathe when she took the nut from an assortment tray of Christmasstyle snacks.

The mother of two was rushed to hospital but was certified dead shortly after arrival.

Miss George, a supermarket worker, had suffered from an allergy to nuts - as well as to rabbits and horses - since she was three.

She was scrupulous in checking what she ate, but was caught offguard by the snacks, the contents of a Christmas hamper.
