Ducommun Incorporated (NYSE:DCO) today announced that Pratt & Whitney (P&W) has awarded Ducommun AeroStructures (DAS), through its AHF-Ducommun Incorporated business unit, a contract to develop the aft augmentor duct for the F135 propulsion system, power for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter. The augmentor duct would be developed for the CTOL (conventional take-off and landing) and CV (carrier variant) versions of the F-35.
