To the Editor:
After retaining his subcommittee chairmanship, Rep. James Walsh is quoted in the Jan. 8 Post-Standard as saying the committee is "... key to maintaining the Republican majority in the House because of the ability of its members to direct funding and influence elections around the country."
Is this truly the point of this committee? Is it not rather to finance works that will improve conditions for citizens in areas of the United ...
