Jan. 14--TAMPA, Fla.--Full of faith that their team is heading to the Super Bowl, Tampa Bay Buccaneer fans rushed to book rooms in the host city of San Diego on Monday.
The Super Bowl's official hotel room reservation service booked 200 rooms in San Diego on Monday for Tampa fans counting on the Bucs to beat the Philadelphia Eagles Sunday at Veterans Stadium.
"Your fans are already going nuts," said Matt DeLine, president of Roomstar, a company expecting to book 3,000 to 5,000 rooms in San Diego for the Jan. 26 Super Bowl.
