Wole Soyinka is the first Black Nobel Prize winner for Literature. He is also a laureate of the Academy of Humanism and a recipient of the Distinguished Humanist Award from the Council for Secular Humanism. For these reasons and more, many humanists are interested in learning about the political philosophy of this extraordinary individual.
