What's it like to live in a far-off place most of us see only on a vacation? Foreign Correspondence is a weekly interview with someone who lives in a spot you may want to visit.
Tatiana Boudonava, 46, is assistant principal at City Pedagogical Gymnasium, an elementary/secondary school in Nizhny Novgorod, about 250 miles east of Moscow. Boudonava and nine students have been in Cabarrus County, N.C., this month as part of an exchange program.
She was born near Lake Baikal, in Siberia, and has lived in Nizhny Novgorod for 15 years.
