Eleven years ago, Ben & Jerry's introduced the idea of mixing raw cookie dough with ice cream.
Americans - especially Jim Bewersdorf - went crazy over the treat. Soon, no one could imagine life without chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream.
Bewersdorf, who "participated heavily in the sampling of that product," had no idea his obsession would lead to Cookie Dough Creations, one of downtown Naperville's favorite ice cream and dessert shops.
