The latest venture from serial entrepreneur and ex-England cricketer Phil Edmonds is Capricorn Resources, which plans an Aim listing next month. The group is looking to raise GBP400,000 through an offer for subscription at 1p a share, and counts prominent small cap mining investor Bruce Rowan as a non-executive director.

Mr Rowan has given an irrevocable undertaking to subscribe or procure subscribers for 20m shares, making him easily the largest shareholder in the firm. Investors will also receive one warrant for every two offer shares.
