BLUE CROSS EXECUTIVE ELECTED DIRECTOR
OF FEDERAL RESERVE BANK OF PHILADELPHIA
PHILADELPHIA, Dec. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- James M. Mead, president and chief executive officer of Capital Blue Cross, Harrisburg, Pa., has been elected a director of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia.
His three-year term will begin Jan. 1, 1991.
Since joining Capital Blue Cross, Mead has held several managerial positions, including senior vice president, marketing and provider relations.
Formerly, he was special assistant to the Insurance Commissioner of Pennsylvania for research and policy development on health-related programs. ...
