CORRECTION: In a story Thursday about smallpox, Dane County Public Health Administrator Gary Johnson was referred to as a physician, and he was quoted as saying a person getting the smallpox vaccine could transmit smallpox.
Johnson is not a physician, and he said there is no chance of getting smallpox from the smallpox vaccine. The Capital Times regrets the errors.
