Article: 250 pilgrims off today for Mecca.(Main News)

A total of 250 Filipino pilgrims for the Mecca pilgrimage will leave for Saudi Arabia today to join an estimated two million other guests of Allah from around the world for Hajj 2003.

This was announced yesterday by the Office on Muslim Affairs (OMA) headed by Undersecretary Zamzamin L. Ampatuan, who will lead the traditional send-off along with some national officials at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

Saudi officials will receive them at the Hajj Terminal of the King Abdul Aziz International Airport in Jeddah, gateway to the kingdoms holy places.
