Like the automobile it has spawned, the company Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Ltd. will be a mixture of British and German elements.
The Rolls-Royce marque is quintessentially British in both design and spirit. But the financial muscle and much of the engineering will come from Munich, along with many of the new Phantom's key components, including the aluminum spaceframe and body and the 12-cylinder engine.
