Warsaw. January 17. INTERFAX-EUROPE - Polish fuel giant PKN Orlen offered its help in restructuring the Polish chemical sector and a group of small, struggling southern refineries to encourage the Treasury to consent to its joint offer with Rotch Energy to buy 75% of Rafineria Gdanska (RG), the second-biggest Polish refiner, the daily "Parkiet" reported Friday.
"PKN Orlen wants to buy RG, but [Poland's fuel-sector sell-off unit] Nafta Polska needs to look at the whole sector. What will happen with the southern refineries and the heavy chemical sector after RG's privatization," Nafta ...
