After the over-indulgence of the Christmas and New Year festivities, diets and a vow to embark on a healthier lifestyle are top of most people's list of resolutions.
Detoxing has become increasingly popular in recent years and barely a week goes by without a new detox diet guide or recipe book hitting the book stores.
The idea behind detoxing is simple. You cut foods containing harmful chemicals from the diet, while flushing out the impurities already in the body by drinking copious amounts of filtered or mineral water.
