ISSAQUAH -- Issaquah coach Jeff Patrick knew his players would be pumped up to play mighty Mercer Island last night. Unfortunately, that may not have been a good thing.
Emotions ran wild in Issaquah's first true KingCo 3A test of the season, and the first-place Indians (10-3, 6-1) looked out of sync for much of the game. The end result was a 50-37 loss to the Islanders (12-3, 6-1) in front of a packed house at Issaquah High School.
