E. H. writes: I went on a week's holiday to Cyprus with a well-known tour operator recently. When we arrived, my suitcase was missing. Since I had no clothes except those I travelled in (tracksuit bottoms, thick jumper and trainers) and they were unsuitable in temperatures of about 90 degrees, the courier told me to buy clothes for a day. But I could only find two skirts and tops as the shops had mainly winter clothes.
It completely ruined our holiday: we could not go to the pool and could not go out in the evenings as the clothes I had bought ...
