Jan. 22--From his office in Tampa, Dan Pranka has called dozens of San Diego hotels over the past few weeks to line up rooms for the 1,000 Buccaneer fans his tour company is bringing to Sunday's Super Bowl.
He has found plenty to choose from. Because of fears of war and worries over a sputtering economy, hotel reservations for this year's Super Bowl are coming in at a slower pace than they did in 1998 the last time San Diego hosted the big game.
