MONTREAL--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 22, 2003

Bombardier Transportation (TSX:BBD.A) (TSX:BBD.B) today announced that Gunderson-Concarril, a joint venture formed in 1998 by Bombardier and The Greenbrier Companies, has received an order valued at $53.7 million Cdn ($35 million US) to build 500 freight cars for TTX Company. Bombardier's share of the order represents $26.8 million Cdn ($17.5 million US).
