Jan. 23--Manatee County residents are a happy lot, raving about the area's friendliness, its quality of life and attractions, according to a new survey.
They had some concerns -- the pace of growth and traffic congestion top the list -- but overall only 21 percent would choose to live elsewhere if employment and salary were not considerations.
The survey was commissioned by the Tampa Bay Partnership, a regional economic development organization covering a seven-county area. A total of 1,107 registered voters were interviewed last October in Manatee, ...
