Covington police issued citations Tuesday to three of the city's four surviving massage businesses.
The three -- all that remain of the dozen such businesses which existed just months ago -- were cited for failing to live up to stringent new regulations for massage establishments that took effect this month.
"We've got only four operating in the city now, that we know of," city Attorney Jay Fossett said Tuesday. "As long as they operate according to the ordinance, they'll be fine. If they don't, they'll be prosecuted."
