Jan. 22--GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C.--A Murrells Inlet man who said he put his life savings into his new pizza restaurant thinks his business could be ruined if a boat-manufacturing plant moves next door.
Rick Sowash, who opened Riccardo's Pizza in October, told Georgetown County Council he did not want 70-foot boats built near his restaurant because the smell and the noise would drive his customers away.
"This is no little boat repair business," Sowash said.
