A 17-year-old girl who crawled hundreds of yards in near-zero temperatures was found frozen to death Wednesday on Lake Minnetonka, and divers later recovered the body of a friend, a 16-year-old boy, from the bottom of the lake.
The two Minnetonka High School students were in a car that fell into a large patch of open water as they drove on the lake, said Capt. Bill Chandler of the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office.
