POWER AUTHORITY ANNOUNCES COURT, PSC DECISIONS

NEW YORK, Dec. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- "New York's electricity consumers got a pair of holiday gifts today from state Supreme Court and the state Public Service Commission," Richard M. Flynn, chairman of the New York Power Authority said Wednesday.

Both decisions involved the planned purchase of lower-cost hydroelectricity from Canada for distribution to consumers in downstate New York.
