Jan. 24--With an anticipated announcement regarding a Toyota Motor Corp. assembly plant hovering in the air, projections of slow San Antonio job growth in 2003 hardly spoiled the 32nd annual Economic Development Conference on Thursday.
"I'm happy to be in San Antonio, soon to be the hometown of Toyota," new Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott told 260 people attending the conference held by the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce.
