The International Franchise Association's (IFA) revival of the popular Veterans Transition Franchise Initiative, known as VetFran, was officially re-launched September 24 during Franchise Appreciation Day in Washington, D.C. As this edition of Franchising World magazine went to press, more than 70 companies had responded to the association's invitation, first extended to companies that have a range of initial investment below $150,000, the maximum loan amount on which the U.S. Small Business Administration will offer 85 percent loan guarantees.
