MID-SIZED MANUFACTURERS TELL GRANT THORNTON

WASHINGTON, Dec. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- More than two-thirds of the manufacturers who are aware of the Malcolm Baldrige Award say they do not think they will apply for the nation's highest prize for quality improvement in the next three years, in part because they perceive the federal contest is for bigger companies only.
