Papal legate Cardinal Alfonso Trujillo called on all lawmakers to favor the family at the conducting rites of the Fourth World Meeting of Families at the Quirino Grandstand in Luneta.
There is no better investment for the government and legislators, than to favor the families, Trujillo said in his homily.
Parliament that approves unjust and harmful laws violate the rights of families, their right to respect life, and their right to wholesome education for their children, he said.
