Nathalie Rykiel: Parisian style is very unique--it is a different way of being. I think everybody in the world would agree that there is something about Parisian style, especially Left Bank style.
Sonia Rykiel: When people think chic, they always say, "Oh, la Parisienne!" A Parisian woman is intelligent--she's completely intellectual and knows many things about herself and her soul. She not only takes care about the way that she dresses; she pays attention to her gestures, the way she walks. She has an attitude.
